| | As adults, we'll waste a third of every day working. The average person works eight hours a day. We'll waste another third sleeping, considering we get our full eight hours every night. That leaves the average person with eight hours - one third of 24 hours - of time to do what he or she wants. Wait. I forgot to subtract the time spent eating from those eight hours. Let's say 15 minutes for breakfast, and half an hour for both lunch and dinner, making it a total of an hour and 15 minutes spent eating. Which leaves us with six hours and 45 minutes of free time. And then there's the time spent in the bathroom. Three times five minutes on the toilet, plus another 15 minutes in the shower (i know it's alot more than that for women, but whatever. let's even it out by not counting the time spent masturbating by the average guy), gives us half an hour spent in the bathroom each day. And that brings our grand total down to six hours and 15 minutes. That's a fourth of the day.
We have a quarter of our lives to do what we want to do. I think they should print this sentence on every male baby's penis so that, when he grows up and looks down at it before sticking it anywhere, he'll remember to use protection so he doesn't make that quarter of his life even smaller by making children he'll have to spend time taking care of. |
